Sophie & Max | Haselbury Mill | Wedding

Haselbury Mill Wedding Photography

This post is all about Sophie, Max and their Haselbury Mill wedding photography. It was a great day, full of fun, friends and family. Haselbury Mill is situated in deepest rural Somerset and it is a beautiful wedding venue. Down small country roads with high hedges. It was a beautiful time of year for their wedding with lots of blossoms in the trees and lovely low golden light in the sky. Sophie got ready at Haselbury Mill in a stunning room very close to where the ceremony was held.

As you can imagine it was a huge honour to photograph a wedding for someone who works for a wedding magazine! It’s always great to see my work in print and the photographs were featured in the July edition of Wedding Ideas Magazine. Also, bonus content – you can read all about her styling ideas here. As you can imagine I was really looking forward to the big day and I really just remember it being so much fun. A real celebration. Styled beautifully with the most amazing colours and beautiful flowers. Emotional right through the ceremony (sting quartets do that to me), to the first dance. The best confetti entrance, yummy foods, a TVR (which Max fired just for the fun of the engine noise), a cool photo booth, great speeches and personally written vowels for the ceremony. The cake was pretty amazing too.

The party began in the evening when Sophie slipped into her evening dress and danced with everyone to music by The Side Kicks.

If you didn’t get a chance to see their engagement shoot – check it out here.

Thank you both for having me at your wedding, it really was an honour. Anyway – enough chat and on with some Haselbury Mill wedding photography.
