Donna & Chris | Wedding | Sherborne Abbey, Dorset
It was a real pleasure to be invited to photograph Donna and Chris’s wedding in Sherborne Abbey, Dorset. To photograph someone’s wedding is always a huge honour – but when the venue is as historic and beautiful as Sherborne Abbey you can’t help but feel a bit more emotional than normal!
The reception was held at The Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne. It was a beautiful venue and the perfect setting to let the celebrations begin!
Highlights of the day? Well, the whole day was special but a few moments really stick in my mind. The beautiful ceremony in the imposing abbey. The brass band at the reception. The speeches (I haven’t laughed that much in a long time!) Helping Donna climb a tree and Chinese lanterns which almost burned down a tree!
As the wedding was only yesterday I haven’t yet had the chance to look at all of the photographs. That said I have posted a preview below as a few stood out from a first glance.
