ELMORE COURT

GLOUCESTERSHIRE
THE IDEAL VENUE FOR COUPLES WANTING TO CREATE A ROMANTIC & CASUAL COTSWOLDS VIBE
Elmore Court is one of those venues that just has it all. Tucked away in the Gloucestershire countryside, it’s a 750-year-old house that feels grand and historic, but never stuffy – the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. I love going there and the staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. I’ve been there in all seasons and it’s such a beautiful place to celebrate.
As a wedding photographer, I love shooting here because there’s so much variety; the light in the main house is beautiful, the gardens are perfect for a wander (and some relaxed portraits), and then you’ve got the Gillyflower – a purpose-built party space that was made for big nights on the dance floor. It’s a venue that balances history and modern style effortlessly, and it always gives couples such a stunning backdrop to their day.
THE INFO
Elmore Court is stunning by day with historic charm and gardens, then transforms at night into the ultimate party space.

I LOVE ELMORE
If there’s one place that could be considered the crème de la crème of all South West wedding venues, then Elmore Court would be it.
It’s no surprise, then, that I absolutely adore it when couples ask me to be their Elmore Court wedding photographer!

A BIT ABOUT IT
FOUNDED IN 1274
Elmore Court has everything you could possibly want from your wedding venue by the bucketful. It’s the most magical space set at the north of the Severn Vale, and has been in the hands of the same family since 1274.
This means that alongside the aesthetics, the venue also has an incredible feel to it, which is key when you’re spending one of the most important days and/or weekends of your life there!

CHURCH WEDDING?
If you’re looking for a religious ceremony there’s a church less than a mile away; but you can also have civil ceremonies in the Hall inside the house, which has incredible high ceilings and stained glass windows. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a kickass ceremony in there as Rebecca and Steven’s Elmore Court wedding photographer. Just before they walked down the aisle together, the New York Brass band burst out from behind the door and started playing; it was honestly INCREDIBLE.
THE RECEPTION
Where can you go after the ceremony? Rebecca and Steven continued their party onto the grassy lawn outside, where they and their guests, among other things, enjoyed a spot of 3pm limbo (You don’t get enough 3pm limbo at weddings, in my opinion.)

Elmore Court truly is one of the most stunning wedding venues around. I’ve shot weddings there throughout the year, and it never fails to wow! Turning every corner reveals new wonder; which is great for guests, as it makes for an unforgettable day, but also great for your Elmore Court wedding photographer, as it means there’s always new backdrops and portraits spots to get excited about.
