Assembly Rooms Bath Wedding Photographer

Trying to put Jane and Gareth’s wedding in to words is going to be difficult because it blew my mind. I was their Assembly Rooms wedding photographer and they got married right in the main hall. If you’ve never been it’s a fancy venue and with a break from tradition their wedding followed the Australian timeline. Aussie Jane, moved over from her homeland to be with Gareth. It was fun to do things differently with a slightly later ceremony and then a break before the reception. There was so much time for couple photos!

After photos in Bath we headed to Coombe Lodge for the reception, dancing, speeches, photo booth, bouquet toss and sparklers. I ended up staying until midnight! With a tip of the hat to Australia they had Australian wines plus… Welsh cakes (yum!)

Jane wore a Pronovias wedding gown and some Jimmy Choo shoes. A shout out to The Rose Shed for the beautiful flowers and Bath Babycakes for the wedding cake. Jo Perry did a great job getting the girls hair ready and a shout out to Pinterest for the golden reception decorations with looked incredible.

It certainly one of my favourite wedding venues in Bath and it’s very close to the Roman Baths wedding venue which you might be interested in. And of course do check my wedding photography in Somerset page to see more of my work from the local area.

It was great to work with all these other wedding vendors, but of course a HUGE thank you to Jane and Gareth, who I don’t think stopped smiling once during the day…
