Autumn wedding Elmore Court

Today on the blog is a banger of an autumn wedding at Elmore Court. Nicole and Oliver got married on a sunny October day in Gloucestershire. We had drinks outside on the lawn, games and couple photos at sunset.

Nicole wore a beautiful Pronovias wedding gown, a massive thank you for traipsing it through a field in the name of nice photos! It was great to see a few wedding friends again including amazing hair & makeup artist @charlottetillyerhmua and florist beautiful flowers @theroseshed.

A little shout out to cake maker and baker @cakedaydreams – on this occasion I did sample the goods (for raise my sugar levels) and can confirm it was yum.

My favourite moments of the day have to include the speeches. Olly’s brother smashed it with anecdote after anecdote. I loved the photos at sunset and the ceremony wasn’t bad either! The ceremony room at Elmore Court really is a stunner. Those large windows let in amazing light it’s such a beautiful spot. If I weren’t married already it would be top of my list.

Despite visiting Elmore Court a few times it was the first glowing autumn sunset I’d seen. Therefore we were able to make use of the stunning landscape next to the Gillyflower. There are so many good places to go but I was buzzing to try somewhere new and you can’t beat a nice empty field!

My last memorable moment of the day was running through a short rain shower to get a photo of Elmore Court with a double rainbow. It’s not photoshopped, I promise! Yeah – that was fun and for a good photo I’d do it again any day of the week.
