My Best Wedding Photography of 2022

So here are my best wedding photos from 2022. What a whirlwind year it has been. Since shooting my last wedding in December I’ve had a break with my family in Tenerife. Christmas has passed and I’ve just about had time to reflect over 2022, recover and take stock.

Firstly, a massive thank you to all of the couples who had me at their wedding. I never get tired of taking photos and I am super thankful these amazing people who invite me in to their lives for such an important day. It’s never taken for granted. Also a huge shout out to all of the other suppliers I’ve worked with this year. In particular I’ve had the pleasure of working with many new videographers. Each one has been great company and kept my energy up.

2022 was SUCH a fun year. I’m not 100% sure why but there were great party vibes at every celebration. 2022 took me to many new places for wedding photography. I also returned to many familiar places too! Four trips to Italy and a fifth to Spain. Lake Garda, Valencia and Ravello were places I’d never been so it was amazing to explore them all a little and get a taste of travel once again. 

I loved the weddings at a few of my familiar haunts like Came House, St Giles House, Lulworth Castle, Coombe Lodge and Priston Mill. It’s got me thinking I should perhaps move further south in to Dorset.

A personal highlight was being Highly Commended at The Wedding Industry Awards. It’s the only award I enter because it relies on feedback from the couples who book me it means a lot.

So to wrap up here is a little selection of my favourite wedding photographs from 2022. I’m going to limit this one to 100 images – which is a lot of photos to look through but every one is a banger. As always it was a really tricky selection to make but they all remind me of good times and what a great year 2022 was.
