Gayle & Neale | Engagement | Bristol
I’ve often travelled past this part of Bristol and thought how great it would be for a wedding photography session. So it was great to get together with Gayle and Neale for an engagement shoot just outside of Bristol. We had a last minute lucky change of location and decided to give Dower House a go. The house is so beautiful and dates back to 1553. I was sad/envious to learn it had been transferred in to flats (!) but intrigued to learn that it is a formal psychiatric hospital.
I didn’t let that detract from the beautiful late summer afternoon. We walked around Stoke Park just off the M32 for a while taking in the view and enjoying the weather. I really enjoy photographing people close to sunset, the light is so warm and brings out such nice tones in the surroundings. The tall grass was so beautiful and in my mind this made the location.
What do you think?
