Rea & Jamie | Wedding | Tockington, Bristol

It was an absolute delight to be able to photograph Rea and Jamie’s wedding in Bristol last month in June. The weather was great, hot hot hot! Which worked out as planned because the wedding reception was held in Tockington Manor School’s cricket grounds just outside of Bristol. The wedding ceremony was held in St Bonaventure’s Roman Catholic Church just off Gloucester Road in Bristol.

I was really impressed with Rea who put her artistic talents to work and pretty much put together (with the help of friends and family) the reception venue. I’m sure you will agree from the photographs that it looked amazing. I was pretty amazed when I learnt this wasn’t the work of a professional, it just goes to show a bit of time and effort goes a long way. Her lovely parents surprised Rea and Jamie with a string quartet on their arrival. A lot of the day was centred around the many, many children attended the wedding. There were lots of fun and games, a children’s entertainer and of course sweets and yummy wedding cupcakes.

Anyway, here are some of my favourite photographs from the day.
