Lucy & Marvin | Burley Manor | Wedding
Burley Manor Wedding Photography
The new forest is one of my favourite spots in the UK so I was thrilled to capture Lucy & Marvin’s Burley Manor wedding. A beautiful wedding venue right in the middle of the New Forest with sunny skies and bags of charm.
I’ve been there a few times now (I studied in Southampton) and have even done a few pre wedding shoots there too. The New Forest is pretty famous for the wild ponies that roam freely around the countryside.
At the end of the day we headed out for a few couple photos in the countryside close to Burley Manor. We saw an amazing sunset and then quickly headed back for a few cocktails and the first dance.
It was a wedding day with a few extra traditions as Marvin and his family come from France. It’s hard to pick one, but my favourite photo from the day was a shot of Marvin getting ready. With a helping headless third hand it’s a great natural photo I’m pretty proud of!
A few shout outs to the other wedding suppliers involved in with day. To start with Frances Moore the make up artist and The Wild Fox. Lucy wore a Sottero & Midgley wedding gown.
The cake topper was handmade with materials found in Lucy’s grandmother’s garden. I loved working with Marvin and Lucy – thank you so much for being so welcoming! Huge congratulations to you both and a massive thank you for having me along.
I am impressed with the photography, and I love how you captured the natural beauty of this venue. The photos are amazing!
