Scarlett & Robin | Caswell House | Wedding
Scarlett and Robin came all the way from Dubai to tie the knot, back here in the UK in the Oxfordshire countryside. I was their wedding photographer at Caswell House, the venue that set the backdrop to the day. After the wedding I was pretty pumped to see via Instagram that their photos made it to publication in a wedding magazine in Dubai. Another international publication!
On the morning of the day it was a happy surprise to see make up artist Elle Hitchens who I run in to a few times a year. It was an amazing visual beautiful wedding to photograph with beautiful blooms from Fabulous flowers. Scarlett’s beautiful beautiful wedding gown was made by Jesus Peiro. I’ve seen a few dresses from this Spanish designer and they are so unique. The striped pattern (is that the technical term?!) really looked incredible and this is one of my favourite photos from the day.
I’m lucky enough to go to a few Caswell House weddings a year (more coming up on the blog soon!) but each time the venue is a bit different and personalised. This time I saw Love and ‘R&S’ signs by GlowLoveLights as well as fairy lights adorning the ceiling. The weather was remarkably English with the threat of rain but that didn’t spoil the atmosphere as we even did a confetti shot inside right before everyone went in to eat. We also managed to sneak off for a few couple photos and take advantage of the beautiful gardens. The cake was made by FrenchMade – it tasted pretty darn good!
A huge thank you to Scarlett and Robin for having me along to their wedding. They made me feel like just another friend who was there taking shots. Also a bit thank you for letting me run free with ideas and do what I do best!
