Georgina & Ryan | Chateau De Seyre | Wedding
Chateau De Seyre Wedding Photographer
It was an absolute pleasure to visit the south of France for Georgie and Ryan’s Chateau De Seyre wedding. It’s been a little while since I visited this beautiful part of the world so it was great to return. The Chateau De Seyre wedding venue is situated at the top of a little hill with incredible views all around. In fact I got the drone out four times and each time tried another angle of the chateau. The camera could not get enough of the views of the Pyrenees!
I think my favourite part of the day was the party – so many laughs and some high energy dancing. At destination weddings I tend to stay late in to the evenings and it tends to get a little wilder than normal as everyone is in the holiday spirit. The ceremony spot was also perfection, set in a tree lined avenue behind the chateau.
Whilst I can’t deny I love a bit of sun, the cloud meant I could work every angle and get so many more photos (because no one was squinting!) I was happy to not to be working in 35/40 degree heat too. As a destination wedding photographer it’s not that unusual and I’ve discovered linen clothes are now my friends.
Everyone looked amazing – Ryan’s suit was a great style fit with the chateau in the background. I loved Georgie’s dress – with an outer lower layer which was in perfect keeping with the French vibes. Perfection.
Ryan’s brothers speech dropped a few bombs as did Georgie’s bridesmaids. Thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer and for making me feel so welcome. I really felt like I was part of the day and their friends and family were the nicest of people.
I can’t wait to return to the region to photograph Georgie’s sister next year. No, on with the Chateau De Seyre wedding photos.
