Anna & Richard | Engagement | Clifton, Bristol

I really like it when couple’s agree to do an engagement shoot. I know not everyone has the time but it’s such a great chance to hang out, have fun and get to know one another a bit better before the big day. A few of Anna and Rich’s photographs are below. We got together on Sunday evening in Clifton Village and went for a walk around the local area. The evening sun was warm and gave great light. We saw hot air balloons launching from the other side of the Clifton suspension bridge and lots of dogs out on walks!

It was really good to get to know Anna and Rich a bit better, they are both easy going and were up for trying new ideas and poses. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in a few weeks time. If these few photos are anything to judge by it’s going to be a great day with so many great photography opportunities.

  1. These are really striking. You’re right about the light! I particularly like the one of them walking down the grassy path away from you as they’re chatting. Fab!

  2. These locations (and your use of them, of course) are so awesome. The shot of them on the bridge is by far my favorite. The lines and DOF in it the picture just guide you straight to the couple. Great work!

  3. I am in LOVE with this set. Every one is just amazing, truly! Beautiful use of light and your processing compliments the shots perfectly. PS- I LOVE your logo! Bookmarked!

  4. Top job! Really nice set, I bet they are very pleased. Not so sure I’d be relaxed walking over the Clifton Bridge…. :o)
