Clock Barn Wedding

Firstly, it was great to be a part of Amy and Ben’s Clock Barn wedding. A beautiful little wedding venue down near Winchester in Hampshire. Surrounded by lovely countryside and with a massive clock tower outside! We could not have been luckier with the weather – for a November wedding the sun shone fiercely and it almost felt like summer. As a photographer, where light is EVERYTHING I can tell you I worked my hardest to maximise the sunny goodness. After a very long confetti tunnel everyone stayed outside to enjoy drinks, canapés and soak up some rays. If that wasn’t enough they had a live acoustic band playing in the background – wedding goals!

Fortunately the inside of Clock Barn is light and pretty so during the darker parts of the day everything looked just splendid.

I think my highlight were the couple photos – predictable perhaps but Clock Barn wedding venue just looked lovely in the winter sun. We took a wander down a country lane and visited the barn in the car park for a more alternative backdrop. Sun just kept on giving and Amy and Ben were a dream to work with.

The funniest moment for me was the best man’s speech – it was just brilliant. He rolled out a custom holiday towel, beer mats and postcards with Ben’s face on. The reactions to this (and a few of the risky jokes) were absolute photo gold. I love it when the speeches are so personal and a definite perk of the job.

A massive thank you for having me along – I had the best time and the staff at Clock Barn wedding venue were great to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. I hope these images bring back so many happy memories for many years to come. Want to see more weddings in Hampshire? Here ya go!
