Mayu & Giuliano | Combe House | Wedding

So these are the photos of Mayu and Giuliano and their Combe House wedding. The most charming couple and the most charming day. When I requested the schedule from Giuliano he responded that that it was ‘an Italian wedding which doesn’t have any fixed timings. The only certain time is the ceremony and everything else will flow naturally.’ It couldn’t have been more perfect. He also wrote ‘I will understand if you don’t want to stay late’ – and I of course, almost certainly did!

Everyone got ready at Combe House in Devon, and my good friend Sam helped capture a few images of the guys getting ready. Whilst I stayed with Mayu and had the pleasure of capturing a few photos of her Alexander McQueen wedding dress and the beautiful natural wedding bouquet made by florist Emma Vowles. She called on Giuliano’s good friend to do her hair, and despite the language barrier it looked beautiful.

Josaphinas made the most beautiful cake and Midnight Blue played some jazz during the afternoon.

Picking a favourite moment from the day is so difficult as so many fun things happened. Confetti was spontaneously thrown as they walked down the aisle and the Italian friends and family were a pleasure to photograph. Beautiful, emotional and all incredibly tanned and photogenic. But I loved the spontaneous speeches which were given by friends and family before the band got started and everyone danced the night away.
