Crowcombe Court Wedding
I love going to new venues and Crowcombe Court wedding venue in Somerset absolutely delivered! It’s a stunning venue and the surrounding countryside is just beautiful.
Firstly, with a mid October wedding the weather really could have been anything. But we were treated to plenty of gorgeous sun. The colours just banged and I love a bit of harsh autumn light, I’d take that any day over cloud.
Shout out to the florist who put together the most stunning arrangements in the ceremony room. They were gorgeous and I couldn’t stop taking photos of them. Also, the ceremony room (the main entrance) is simply a stunning space. Although the flowers looked epic it would still have looked pretty special without them.
Both Ellie and Jon got ready at the venue so it was easy to see them both in the morning and grab a few photos of the important bits. I always love the build up and their ushers and bridesmiads were so much fun.
Then, as the sun set and the speeches concluded and we headed downstairs for a cave for a rave!
I think my favourite part of the day was the reception – it was lovely to be outside in the warm sun soaking up the atmosphere. Quite often at weddings I get lucky with the weather and it really makes these photos sing. Second favourite part of the day was Ellie’s family dog who was ring bearer (before being taken swiftly away at the end of the ceremony!)
Huge thanks to them both for having be along to take their wedding photos at Crowcombe Court. I loved bring part of their day and these photos bring back all the good memories each time I look at them.
