Here are Katy and David’s Denbies Wine Estate wedding photographs. With the amazing light and miles of vineyards I truly could have been in another country. It was a bit of a surprise venue as I’d not been before nor had I heard of it. I really enjoy going to new wedding venues for this very reason, whilst I do a bit of research I love a surprise and nothing makes me more inspired.

Katy’s bridal party were the definition of ‘fun’ – and such a lot of fun to be around. It certainly makes your life easier when there are jokes and laughter every 30 seconds to help ease any nervous feelings. I met David for the first time at the church, greeting his guests and looking a little bit nervous 🙂 One of my favourite moments from their wedding was at the wedding reception at Denbies wine estate. All of the bridesmaids and ushers joined Katy and David in one of the vineyards for a quick group photo. I love all of the in between moments which are easily more fun than the ‘official’ photo (although I love that one too!)

I think my second favourite moment was the surprise singing waiters. After 280 weddings I can finally cross that one off my list. They were pretty amazing and it was great fun photographing the crowd who clearly loved their antics. Also David’s reaction is priceless as he had no idea.
