Dillington House Wedding Photography

[/vc_column_text][vcex_spacing][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I was really excited to finally visit Dillington House for wedding photography. A gorgeous venue in Somerset for Alix and Chris’s wedding. It was a new wedding venue for me and one I’d heard a lot about. It was also my first wedding since the ‘you-know-what’ of 2020 so I was pretty excited to get my cameras out.

The day went swimmingly and it was great to get back in to the swing of things and capture fun moments as everyone got ready. The outdoor ceremony location at Dillington House is incredible. With a great vantage spot for some wider images of the house as well as the opportunity to get close. The registrars were really accommodating and great to work with.

I loved how upbeat Alix and Chris were. With all the uncertainty of 2020 it was a relief to revert to normality and see everyone enjoy the celebration. Without doubt I really enjoy these smaller weddings.

Although guest numbers were down everyone had a blast. With garden games like croquet and cricket there was plenty of entertainment. As expected things got a little competitive between the two families but this might have been my favourite part of the day. After a few gins there was some wild batting and bowling and as an observer it was a riot!

A massive thank you to Alix and Chris for having me. I loved being a part of your day and I can’t wait to start work on your wedding album. Now, on with the Dillington House wedding photography. There are a few of my favourite photos form this beautiful venue. I don’t know about you but I can’t get enough of the view of the front of this house.
