Emma & Oliver | Engagement | Bristol
Following a late finish at this wedding on Saturday night I rose early, grabbed my bag and headed out of the door for a 9:30am engagement shoot on Clifton Down in Bristol. Normally I wouldn’t opt to do an engagement shoot in the wet and cold month of November but I had a good feeling about this one. I’m lucky enough to live in a pretty nice part of Bristol and it allows me to spot good photographic locations. Whilst I’ve always thought Clifton Down is naturally quite scenic, I saw the road a few days earlier and it looked magical. Late afternoon, golden light and golden leaves falling from the trees. Photolicious.
There was a bit of a chill in the air on Sunday morning and I was pleasantly surprised when Emma and Oliver agreed to remove their coats for the sake of the photographs. They instantly relaxed and it was great to spend more time getting to know them. Oliver is clearly a bit of a charmer and Emma is a natural beauty. Together they are awesome and I’m really looking forward to seeing them marry one another next year.
Striking location + couple in love = stunning photographs.
