Maya & MJ | Engagement Shoot | Snowdon

I photographed Maya and MJ’s wedding a few weeks ago. But before that hits the blog it seemed like a good idea to share their engagement photos. Maya chose Snowdon in Wales as the location. As she grew up there it seemed fitting. Also, it just looks amazing! Fortunately we had weather to match, which was one of my biggest worries! We actually visited the wonder that is Portmeirion village before exploring the beautiful mountains of North Wales. I actually grew up in Wales too and can’t believe I don’t have any memories of visiting Snowdon because it’s absolutely incredible. A huge thank you to Maya and MJ for being up for anything and also suggesting these beautiful locations. I had an amazing afternoon taking engagement shoot Snowdon photos. I even bought me an ice cream (it got hot in Wales!) and, on their recommendation bought a Fitbit as soon as I got home! They both had an outfit change and Maya even wore heals up Snowdon. Commitment! They looked so good and I’m really proud of these images. I was thrilled to see that they even printed a few of them out large for the wedding. It’s the ultimate test and so good to see photos being printed out rather than kept on hard drives or Facebook.

I can’t wait to share their wedding photos shortly. It really was an incredible day at one of my favourite locations (Larmer Tree Gardens Wedding venue.) The amount of effort they put in to organising things was incredible. Watch out for an outdoor humanist ceremony, with paper orchids, salsa dancing, garden goes, peacocks and lots of smiles soon.
