Hannah & Ed | Farnham Castle | Wedding
Farnham Castle Wedding Photography
I was thrilled when Hannah and Ed booked me for their Farnham Castle wedding. As they live in Australia we had Skyped before the big day. It was great to get to know them and they both seemed like a lot of fun. Originally born in the UK they were coming back to Farnham Castle to tie the knot.
This was my first wedding at Farnham Castle which is an exclusive wedding venue. Whilst I had seen photos of it online it was great to see the 900 year old building in person. With an amazing view over Farnham and lovely grounds it is a hidden gem.
The bit I liked most about the castle was it’s open air area for the meal out on the grass. Fortunately we had the most amazing heat wave so things worked out perfectly for us (and I’m pretty sure there was a contingency plan should it have rained!)
After the ceremony everyone headed outside on to the Great Lawn for drinks and canapes. It was such a hot day everyone was sipping iced drinks in the shade.
After the speeches there were special cocktails laid on before the evening party.
The indoor ballroom for dancing was great and even had a balcony. I loved getting some ‘safe shots’ of the first dance from the floor and then heading up to the gallery for an epic wide shot of the whole room.
All of their friends and family were really excited to see them, as living in Aus it was a treat they are home.
A huge thanks to Hannah and Ed for having me, I had a ball! I hope these photos bring back all the memories of the day. Now, enough chat and on with the Farnham Castle wedding photography.
