Finca Son Berga wedding

So this was my first time in Mallorca (Majorca?!) Straight off the bat from a wedding in Spain I headed to the Finca Son Berga wedding venue. Now before I visited Mallorca I had a certain impression of what the Spanish island was like. Magaluf – say no more! But I could not have been more wrong! It is incredibly beautiful and it’s high up on the list of spots I’d like to go on holiday. I’ve got some great memories of zipping around the island in my Fiat 500 admiring the views. My wife was envious of my AirBnB near Finca Son Berga. My AirBnB had the most amazing views, a pool and was very tranquil. For a small amount of time I had a little relaxation (in-between editing duties!)

My favourite things about the Finca Son Berga wedding

I have to start with the view of the rock. It’s unique and I’ve not been to a wedding venue like it. As I recall Maggie and Nathan kept the venue a complete surprise from their guests. I love this idea. Their friends and family caught a bus to Finca Son Berga and no one had the chance to Google it and see it in advance. The beautiful setting made for some stunning photos, but there’s nothing like seeing it in person.

My second favourite thing was seeing Maggie walk down the aisle. She came with her father from a surprise spot. As she walked through the flowers lots of little butterflies flew in to the air. Not something you could ever choreograph and it made for a pretty special entrance.

My third favourite thing about the Finca Son Berga wedding was Maggie and Nathan who were obviously the stars of the show! They were so relaxed and fun to be around. The party spirit was infectious. Maggie was always asking me if I had everything I needed and they were both so hospitable.

HUGE thanks for having me, I can’t believe your wedding was 3 months ago already! Looking at these wedding photos takes me straight back to that beautiful island.
