Garden Wedding in Surrey

Danielle & Ashley held their garden wedding in Surrey at a friend’s house. It was a beautiful wedding made all that much nicer by the amazing weather. With the government guidelines changing each month and other 2020 shenanigans they planned their wedding in about 3 weeks. That has to be some sort of record and my hat goes off to them!

It was great see them both in the morning for a few photos although they kept it traditional and got ready at different locations. They came together and had an outdoor ceremony and reception in this beautiful garden. With so few guests it was an honour to be a small part of the day.

I love the simplicity of their wedding plans, and how the most important people could be there to celebrate. A small garden wedding in Surrey was a great idea.

Although they planned their wedding 3 weeks I love the fact that they had time to organise and style a small rowing boat. The ceremony was the highlight of their day for me but this was a very case second! We had fun taking these photos. Kudos to Ashley as the rower who easily manoeuvred the boat in to different spots for me!

With help from lots of friends and family it all came together. Shout out to Filipa for the amazing wedding cake.

It was also nice to have some live entertainment and see real people play some amazing music – @jasmineoakleymusic & @magnus_klausen

One of the big surprises for me was that I didn’t know was Danielle was a professional dancer. So whilst they didn’t have a huge evening party she choreographed a short first dance which I loved. A super talented lady.

I have to say a big thank you to Joshua for recommending me. It was a shame not to see him at this garden wedding in Surrey but I hope our paths cross again soon.

Again – massive thanks for having me – now on with a little selection of my favourite wedding photos. Now for me to add a few to my portfolio!
