Rachel & Louis | Couple Shoot | Gloucestershire

Last Friday I met with Rachel and Louis for a Gloucestershire engagement shoot. They bought the cutest prop, in the form of a four legged wonder dog called Wilfred. It was a beautiful afternoon for a shoot, and it’s good to be back in the swing of things. Galavanting around the countryside, hanging out and photographing people.

Whilst it was nice to have a break during the winter, it’s great to be ‘working’ again. April and May seem to be so busy so it’s great to be on couple shoots. They are always fun as it’s great to get to know people a little better before the wedding day. Also, there is often more time to experiment and try new things. It can be a little different to the wedding day where you have to work to a wedding planner’s schedule.

I’m sure they won’t mind me staring as it’s a great story. But Rachel and Lou met on a holiday abroad some time ago. When they got back to the UK they stayed in touch, moved in together, and are now getting wed.

Luckily we stumbled over the most colourful field in the county and jumped in. Combined with warm sunshine it made for a dream location. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in a few weeks time. Although, it was disappointing to learn that Wilfred won’t be able to make the date 🙁 Mind you, I guess we don’t want anyone stealing the show.
