Great British Bake Off Wedding

Well, where do I even begin with this great British bake off wedding? Two legends? Matt and Mike. Grooms. Gentlemen. Bake Off royalty (yes, really – Matt’s sticky toffee pudding is basically historic). And now, very happily, husbands.

They kicked things off with an intimate legal ceremony in the charming heart of Marlborough – just them, a few close ones, and a whole lot of love. But that was just the warm-up. The main event? A mega farm wedding on their own patch of land, surrounded by 180 of their nearest and dearest, plus a smattering of well-behaved sheep in the distance.

Let me tell you, this wedding was fun. Not just fun – next level, unfiltered, dance-until-3am-with-glow-sticks kind of fun. And this one? This one absolutely popped. Think vibrant colour everywhere – wild florals spilling out of every corner, painted signs, confetti like a rainbow had exploded, and two beaming grooms in matching green suits that made everyone else look seriously underdressed.

And the fireworks. Oh man – some of my favourite shots of the whole year. There’s a moment where Matt and Mike are silhouetted against the sparks, holding each other like they’ve just won the lottery (spoiler: they kinda have), and the whole sky is lit up in colour. It’s magic.

Honestly, weddings like this remind me why I do what I do. It’s not just about the photos. It’s about people, connection, belly laughs, proper hugs, and dance floors that don’t quit.

Matt and Mike – you legends – thank you for letting me in on the joy. You made love look effortless, and your wedding looked like pride and joy had a baby.
