Greek Wedding at Brympton House
Greek Wedding at Brympton House
As a wedding photographer, there are certain weddings you just know are going to be special from the very start. This was one of them. Kat & Chris booked me for their Greek wedding at Brympton House after seeing this wedding. And from that moment, I couldn’t wait to capture their big day. Little did I know, it would also be my first proper Greek wedding—and it exceeded all expectations!
Greek weddings are packed with incredible traditions, and I was buzzing to experience them firsthand. The plate smashing? Oh yes, that was right up there on my list of must-see moments, and it did not disappoint! The noise, the excitement, the passion —it was so much fun (and they diligently cleaned up afterwards!) I’m not quite sure how no one was hurt.
Kat’s cousins sang during the reception, and let me tell you, they were phenomenal. One of those moments where you just stop, soak it all in, and remind yourself how lucky you are to be doing this job. Truly special.
Brympton House – The Ultimate Backdrop
This venue never fails to impress. That stunning historic charm, the sprawling grounds, and the way the light hits just right—it was a dream setting for this day. Add to that some unreal weather, and we were onto a winner.
Everyone looked next-level. The bride? Absolute perfection. The guests? Impeccably turned out, with people traveling from London and beyond to celebrate this Greek wedding in style. A feast for the eyes and the lens!
For this wedding, I went hybrid and shot some film alongside digital, and I already know the results are going to be insane. There’s just something about film and sound that captures something a photo can’t.
This Greek wedding at Brympton House had it all—tradition, energy, love, and one hell of a party. So grateful to have been a part of it, and I cannot wait to share more soon!
Now I wouldn’t go as far as saying that Christopher’s suit made this wedding but God he was wearing a cracking set up! Here’s a belated preview from Katerina & Christopher’s wedding – I KNEW it was going to be memorable.
