Ashton & Jonny | Greystoke Castle | Wedding

Greystoke Castle Wedding Photography

It was great to head up to Cumbria again for Ashton and Jonny’s wedding. I seem to go to Cumbria at least once a year but it was my first time doing Greystoke Castle wedding photography. It’s a beautiful wedding venue, although we didn’t go inside the castle once! On a sunny day like theirs why would you?

They got married at St Paul’s Church in Seaton before heading to the beautiful Greystoke Castle. I really had no idea what to expect for their wedding. Ashton looked incredible in her Galia Lahav wedding gown. It really stole the show complimented by her Jimmy Choos. Jonny looked her equal in a cool Tuxedo. I started early in the morning where Sophie Jackson at Scarlett Beauty beautified Ashton and all of the girls whilst Amy Peden from Swain Hairdressing did their hair.

Whilst the wedding was at Greystoke Castle they had the reception in a HUGE marquee from Bakerwood Marquees overlooking the beautiful countryside.  With crockery from Whitehouse Events and a sequin tablecloth from Pudding Bridge. Ashton had her wedding flowers from Floral Boutique in Cockermouth and the marquee flowers were down by Brenda Dowding, Gardenalia.

Last shout out goes to the incredible cake by Jules Huck, The Cake Fairy.

Thank you so much for having me along to take your wedding photos! And on with the Greystoke Castle wedding photography…

  1. Beautiful storytelling images, love the dance photos, please tell me that MJ was one of the songs as it would explain one of them…. lol

  2. LOVE the vibe of this wedding and I actually forgot that this is a British wedding, feels very Italian! Beautiful photos also!

  3. Smashed it as always Albert! Beautiful work and top notch storytelling. Love all the funny little moments you’ve captured – crotch grabbing dancing is one of my favs! 😀
