Katy & Luke | Horsted Place | Wedding
Quite why it took me so long to blog this wedding I do not know. But Katy and Luke’s wedding at Horsted Place was one of sunniest winter weddings I’ve attended. The photo above gives that away a little! It was nice to come highly recommended by one of Katy’s old school friends from this wedding at Babington House. I hate to use words like ‘favourite’ or ‘best’ as weddings are all different, but her dress really was one I really really really liked. It looked so good in photos. It was fairytale. And the very very light ‘pinkish tone’ totally worked.
We got really lucky with the weather (obviously!) – in fact I don’t think the sun stopped shining all day. Couple photos can be quite tough in the winter (as there is no light!) but we managed to capture it at just the right point. It almost looked Californian. The Horsted Place wedding venue made a great backdrop. It was really cosy inside and thank you to the staff for liking after us so well.
I’ve tried to be as selective as possible with the image selection but it’s so hard to narrow these things down. It was a pretty sophisticated event. Very English and quite traditional with Katy getting married at her local church. One she used to go to when she was younger. But then the party started, and the vibe changed and I got some of the best party photos of the year. Thank you so much for having me to cover your wedding – I wish you as much fun and happiness as I saw on your wedding day. Thank you for having me!
Love it mate. Great frames from start to finish.
