Isle of Wight Wedding Photographer
[/vc_column_text][vcex_spacing][vc_column_text]I was an Isle of Wight wedding photographer for Carla and Richard – my next wedding of 2021. What a stunner it was! I don’t know about you but I have really missed travelling this last year! As many of my destination weddings for 2021 are slowly postponing it was great to have a mini adventure and board a ferry for the isle of wight. I went to university in Southampton so it was great to take a stroll down memory lane before boarding the ferry and taking in the views.
Carla and Rich did the legal duties closer to home a few days before their isle of wight celebration. They then invited close friends and family for a little knees up in one of their favourite spots.
We had amazing weather, literally couldn’t have planned it better. Sunny enough to top up the tan but not unbearably hot. Their garden celebration with views of the sea was photo gold and it felt like a holiday to me! One of my highlights of the day was that Rich’s grandad who headed up the ceremony. He was brilliant and should definitely consider becoming a wedding celebrant!
Towards sunset Richard and Carla guided us to one of the highest view points on the island for a few couple photos. We got some great light and the scenic background of the sea made my job that little bit easier.
We then headed back to the party for a little dancing and plenty of drinking games.
I can’t wait for their supersized wedding next year a little closer to home in Somerset. Massive thanks for having me there to capture some memories – I loved taking these photos and playing a little role in the day.
