Jennie & Dom | Lyde Court | Wedding
So Jennie and Dom’s Lyde Court wedding was an event to member! A day of pure fun, lots of laughs and maybe a few tears 🙂 Set in the Herefordshire countryside it’s a treat of a venue for folks looking for a something a little different. The outdoor ceremony at Lyde Court was a ‘beaut!’ With Jennie’s sisters playing and singing, antique chairs for guests, and of course some really great weather! It’s hard not to get a little chocked up at ceremonies, and this was definitely one of those times where I had to focus on the job rather than get sucked in to the events as they unfolded.
A little tip of the hat to Emma Webster who did an amazing job on the flowers and Catering by David Bennett. Dom should really win a fashion award or something for his suit by Reiss and green tie (knitted by Jen’s Bridesmaid Emily no less!) I’m tempted to put in an order myself for Christmas.
A lot of family effort went in to creating the wedding prettyness with napkins hand embroidered by Jen’s nan and Jen’s mum who made the cake, the floral bunting and the padded heart bunting. I’m also told they  collected teapots from charity shops for centre pieces and Jen made the button hearts. The invitations and menus were printed/made by Jen’s sister/bridesmaid, Hannah. It’s great when so much personality is put in to the day and it’s evident in the photos.
Whilst the ceilidh band (The Much Ado Band) finished off the evening in style ,Jennie and Dom were corralled in to a very special surprise first dance played by family and friends. One of Jen’s sisters even went so far as to learn the trumpet and these set of photographs are absolutely some of my favourite from the day.
Anyway, enough of the writing… the photographs do a far better job telling the story… but not before I say a huge thank you for having me. It was incredible to be a little part of the day and share in the fun.
