Jess & Chris | Hazelwood House | Wedding

Here’s a cheeky little preview of Jess and Chris’s Hazelwood House wedding. Hazelwood House in Devon was the beautiful, colourful and slightly quirky venue that set the scene for their big day. The house had so much charm and character and the weather was perfect too. I absolutely love the first photo of Jess, her father and bridesmaids walking from the house to the ceremony venue. It really sets the scene and I love the smile on Jess’s face. The little dog in the foreground also looks pretty cool.

I turned up early in the morning to find their friends and family decorating the ceremony room for them both. It’s always fun to capture the behind the scenes moments as well as the big moments – as it all goes in to making the story of the day. One of the most memorable moments for me were the speeches. I remember being packed in to a small room, with no way of moving, and trying to photograph the raucous loud responses of applause and laughter.

It was great to spend the day with them and a big thanks to their friends and family for making me feel so welcome.
