Kate & Dan | Newburgh Priory | Wedding
Here’s a little blog post about my adventure to North Yorkshire for Kate and Dan’s wedding at Newburgh Priory. Yorkshire is quickly growing on me as a hidden treasure. I’ve been blown away by the beauty of the area each time I’ve visited. And one fine day Kate and Dan got married near Newburgh Priory. It was a hot sunny day and I remember feeling sorry for quite a few of the guys who had to wear uniforms in the heat. I expect they’d been to much hotter places other than North Yorkshire, but on a day of celebrations I guess there is a compromise to looking your best!
Kate wore a Pronovias wedding gown down the aisle at St Michel’s Church in Coxwold. One of my favourite images is Dan’s reaction above. And after celebrations and confetti we headed to Newburgh Priory where PapaKata had laid on an incredible venue next to the stately home. With a touch of luck from the british weather it meant everyone could make the most of the amazing weather and enjoy the sunshine.
After some pretty emotional speeches the sun went down and the party began with some of the wildest dancing I’ve ever witnessed. A huge thank you to Kate and Dan for having me along to capture the emotion and the excitement of their story. Wishing you the happiest of times together in the future.
