Kingsbury Episcopi Wedding

Kingsbury Episcopi Wedding

I’m really happy to be finally showing you this Kingsbury Episcopi wedding with Katy and Alex. People often ask me whether I have a favourite wedding venue to photograph. Whilst I do visit many amazing venues you often can’t beat a wedding in a field in a marquee. It was my first time visiting Kingsbury Episcopi but it is a lovely little village in Somerset. Alex and Katy got married in the local village church and then walked a short distance to their wedding reception.

Alex could not have been more welcoming and fun to be around. He made sure I had everything I needed as well as introducing me to everyone. Katy was super fun to be around and such a character! I would like to know what her secret is to being so relaxed on a wedding day!

One of the toughest parts of the day was finding a little part of the village that would lend itself well to couple portraits. Luckily I chanced upon a small farm courtyard with an apple tree and it really did justice to the rest of the wedding photographs.

I’ve got a few shout outs to suppliers including the dress designer Eddy K. It was cool to work alongside makeup artist Grace Kingsley again as well as Ivory Flowers.

And the last three include the jeweller, Jems of Thornbury, wedding decorations Rustic Rentals and the guys suits from Dyfed Menswear.

You might recognise Harriet and Chris in these wedding photos – they had an awesome wedding day at Priston Mill. As well as a few other friendly faces amongst the crowd it was great to not be a total stranger to everyone.
