Kiran & Sam | Notley Abbey | Wedding

Notley Abbey Wedding Photographer

Photographing Kiran and Sams wedding at Notley Abbey was nothing less than a photographic adrenaline rush from start to finish. Even with the help of Tom there was just moment after moment to capture. The Notley Abbey wedding venue is now firmly on my list of favourite places to visit. As well as it being a little bit magical you get to work with the amazing Barbara from Bijou weddings. I almost wish it were possible to being her to every wedding.

Sam and Kiran had an outdoor wedding ceremony. Whilst the sky looked a little grey in the morning the sun shone brightly as Kiran and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Big smiles. People always say the wedding day goes too quickly and this was one of those days. It all went too quickly for me but it was a blast.

A little shout out to Joanna Carter who put together all of the beautiful flower arrangements and Shell Sullivan for working her hair and makeup magic. Lots of the little homemade items were bought to the wedding, including the incredible cake, jam jar favours and confetti cones.

Kiran wore the perfect Benjamin Roberts dress – and throughout the day I photographed her friends and family admiring it while back was turned.

The Anglo-Indian first dance was also one of the many photographic highlights. Be sure to check it out along with the evening festivities. We also had time to sneak outside and get a few couple photos at night.

A huge huge thank to you Sam and Kiran for having me along. I wish you as much happiness and fun in your marriage as I saw on the wedding day.

  1. Albert, dude, these are incredible. Your timing with candids is spot on and I just love that image of the cake with the hand coming in from the right and the man’s face shadow on the left. Brilliant stuff.

  2. All of the photos are so good. The mixed-culture weddings are always so fun to be at, and to photograph.

I’m with the others on the night shots, too. Intimate, and simple and lovely.
