Loft Studios wedding

This was my first time doing a Loft Studios wedding because I don’t do very many weddings in London. It’s not necessarily the distance from Bristol but the travel when you’re in the city. Getting around with equipment can be a little tricky so it takes something extra special for me to say yes.

Sophie and Jess’s wedding was just that and you may well remember them from their Nomad hotel wedding. Well, at the time they told me they would have a larger wedding a few years later but I didn’t really believe them because for most people once the smaller wedding is done they leave it at that and get on with life. But they had a big gay jewish wedding with all their friends and family at loft studios.

I think my favourite part of the day was when their nephews drove in a large toy car down the aisle to kick the wedding off. I’ve never seen anything like that before, and as they drove it down the aisle, bubbles going everywhere it was a hilarious moment no one was prepared for. The reaction photos are a thing of joy!

After the ceremony we all headed downstairs to enjoy bottomless cocktails and have food. We had great weather, not that it mattered because loft studios is fairly well enclosed. 

During the drinks the same band, featuring Jess’s dad played through the late afternoon and in to the evening where the DJ played the night away.
