London Engagement Photography

London engagement photography is all I seem to be doing at the moment. I’ve had 4 great shoots these last two weeks. Whilst I did another engagement shoot in St Paul’s, the first on the blog is Ngon & Huy. They were referred to me by their friends who had a shoot with me last year, so I was clearly in good company. Flower crowns, bow-tie’s these two came accessorised to the max! For many UK readers this may seem a little OTT for an engagement shoot, but asian pre wedding shoots are a little different. As there isn’t all that much time on the wedding day for couple photos many do a pre wedding shoot so they have beautiful photos. I assume this takes a little stress out of the day. I have also met a few couples from the US who venture over for post wedding shoots.

We were lucky enough to have beautiful autumnal weather on their pre wedding shoot. The sun came out and made a huge difference and I was happy to guide them around a few of my favourite locations. The yellow and green leaves on the trees in the London parks were a great feature although outshone slightly by Ngon’s flower crown. Isn’t it amazing? I am so disappointed that I am not available for their wedding day. They are pretty much my style icons! A huge thank you to them for walking so far but we found some incredible locations and reached them at the moments the sun was coming out from behind the clouds. I can’t wait to add a few of their photos to my pre wedding shoot portfolio.

Anyway… I can think of far worse things to do on a day than hang out with happy couples. It is amusing to have car drivers beeping and passers by congratulating the ‘happy couple’ everywhere we go 🙂
