This post has been a long time coming but I’m happy to share some Manor By The Lake wedding photography with you from Emma and Nathan’s wedding. They got married in the spring so it was great to see the blossom was out! Along with friends and family they had their super cute children with them for the day. They obviously made it in to quite a few of the wedding photos, because, as you’ll know although weddings are mainly about the bride and groom family is so so important.

Getting to know them as a family before the day was really nice. They had an engagement shoot which turned in to a bit of a family shoot. I’m proud to say that they liked the photos so much that Emma bought her sister and her family a shoot too! I don’t do too many family shoots but I really enjoy them, and especially ahead of the wedding it’s great to hang out and find out what is important to people before the wedding day. Every wedding is different and a big part of my job is figuring out what is meaningful to each person.

This was my first wedding at Manor by the Lake which is strange as it’s so close by. In fact I don’t think I’d even heard of it before! It is a beautiful house set in beautiful grounds and lends itself well for weddings. Obviously! I think my favourite moment of the wedding day was during the cocktail hour right after they got married. Loads of children running around, people celebrating, having fun, exploring the gardens. Drinks and amazing looking canapés were coming out – it was just a really nice time and great to photograph.

A huge thank you to Emma and Nathan for having me along to share and capture your wedding day. Check out the Manor by the Lake wedding photography below.

  1. These are absolutely gorgeous! The couple look SO happy. Love that one of the Groom smiling back at her. You have captured so many candid moments of people smiling naturally. I bet they are so pleased. Wonderful work.
