Emma & Phil | Wedding | West Sussex
I always knew Emma and Phil’s wedding was going to be a goodie. Homespun weddings are always fun and I am a huge fan of marquee wedding photography – you just can’t beat the light, being outside in the summer and the atmosphere.
It all started at Emma’s parents watermill where the family and bridesmaids gathered. Emma wore a beautiful Stephanie Allin wedding dress from The Mews and Phil wore a bespoke suit from Moss Bros. We then headed off to the nearby church where they got married.
We then headed back to the watermill and I followed Emma and Phil as they caught a ride in an open top Land Rover.
Emma and Phil put together a picnic area, an evening bonfire, woodfired pizza, boules/croquet/golf and lots of home made bits and pieces. The cake was made by their friend and they invited lots of their music friends to help celebrate the day. Music has always been important to me but I can’t say how much they brought to the wedding. The ceremony, afternoon tea as well as the obvious evening dancing.
A huge shout out to The Gourmet Chef – Caroline and Justin did an amazing job in keeping everyone fed and Findon Marquees for erecting a beauty! Phil’s dad selected all the cheeses and beers.
On of the last things Emma and Phil emailed to me was a note that read ‘be as creative as you want.’ It was a wedding of so many beautiful moments – here’s what happened…
