Moments – The Best Man’s Speech

I love my job. Being a wedding photographer is great. You get to witness those really important, meaningful moments. This stuff matters to people and I get to document it. I really like the photograph below. I picked it out, not as my favourite photograph from the wedding, but to help tell a story. This is the groom’s oldest friend from school. He wasn’t the best man but he gave the most passionate speech. You can see it in his face and body language. He isn’t looking at his notes – he’s saying it like he means it. The fact that his suit is slightly too big for him is actually charming.
