Carmel & Sam | Pennard House | Wedding
Pennard House Wedding
It was great to return to Pennard House wedding venue in Somerset for Carmel and Sam’s wedding. I knew from the moment I arrived that I was in great company as Carmel’s dad forced a bacon sandwich in to my hand!
Not only was the food amazing (more on that to come) but they nailed the styling. It was touch and go but the ceremony was held inside because of weather. However the ceremony room inside Pennard House was really nice and of course the atmosphere was great.
The yellow camper van stole the show and looked great in the photos. But I think my favourite part of the day was the evening. It was so relaxed and so much fun. One of their family owns a bakery and they had four different kinds of donuts. Lemon curd, chocolate, salted caramel and jam! On top of this Pennard House severed the best cheese toasties I have ever had in my life. Sourdough. Amazing cheese. Loads of butter. I don’t even want to know what my calorie count was that day! Hopefully my step count helped offset it!
Carmel and Sam were SO nice. I wish we could do it all over again and I take away loads of amazing memories from the day. I can’t stress this enough!
Shout outs to the over wedding suppliers at Pennard House. Particularly the videographer, who despite working in the same part of the country I’ve never met! The caterers Wild Fork West were wondrous and the florist was especially nice. The flowers were so on point. Carmel’s dress was from The Mews Bridal and the designer was Laure De Sagazan.
It was an unbelievable day with these legends – it all just goes too quick doesn’t it? The band Miracle Cure played the night away! Last but not least the hair stylist and make up artist Leanne Hart worked their wonders. Enough waffle, here are their wedding photos!
