Pre Wedding Photography Iceland

Chris and Regine are on the blog with an amazing pre wedding shoot in Iceland. You may well have seen the Iceland elopement wedding photography and it was great to go back and explore other parts of Iceland, as well as take pre wedding photographs. Inspired by some of Nordicas work we headed to the little black church which has an amazing history. It also looks pretty cool too! Whilst we didn’t get much sun the weather held out on the shoot. It got pretty windy as you’ll see but we also got a little bit of sun.

We started out by going straight to a supermarket to pick up supplies for our mega road trip. We spent more time in the car travelling than taking photos – as there are so many epic sights to see. This time we headed through the west of Iceland (last time I went to the east.) Regine had researched a LOT so she takes all the credit for the great locations. We also stopped off a few times in the car – and managed to attract some Icelandic ponies!

On my first day in Iceland before the pre wedding shoot I explored Reykjavik for the first time. Unsurprisingly it was full of tourists but I enjoyed wandering the streets and getting to know a little bit of the city before heading out in to the countryside. I parked up near the iconic cathedral and walked down the main streets of the capital.

As you’ll probably notice my editing is a little different for this specific pre wedding shoot. I normally quite like bright colourful images but this really didn’t suit the muted tones of Iceland.

Anyway, enough talk here is my favourite pre wedding photography Iceland. Enjoy!
