Pre Wedding Shoot in Cambridge

A sunny afternoon pre wedding shoot in Cambridge with Marcus and Stephanie? Yes please.

These two brought all the relaxed, stylish vibes to their pre-wedding shoot, and the location made it even more special. Marcus is an alumnus of Downing College. So returning felt like stepping back into somewhere that holds a bit of his story.

Add in a fiancée who adores him, some cracking sunshine, and sunglasses that gave off just the right amount of cool. We had a recipe for a golden little pre wedding shoot in Cambridge with an editorial twist.

Downing College is a bit of an unknown gem (well, at least for me!) It is one of those places that quietly blows you away. Big open spaces, clean lines, soft limestone everywhere. We wandered the quads, ducked into quiet corners, and let the place do what it does best — give space for real moments to breathe.

No awkward posing here. Just two people, completely at ease, catching up with old memories and making new ones in the process.

From there, we made our way down through the city, soaking in that classic Cambridge charm. We stopped by the Mathematical Bridge, one of those spots that’s instantly recognisable but never feels too ‘done’. It was calm, golden, peaceful.

Marcus and Stephanie were total naturals at the editorial style. We laughed, we chatted about their wedding plans, and mostly just took our time. That’s what these sessions are about — slowing things down, stripping away the pressure, and just having fun. The result? Honest frames full of light, connection, and a whole lot of love.

Bring on the wedding — if this is anything to go by, it’s going to be something seriously special.
