Priston Mill Summer Wedding

Living in the Westcountry I’m extremely lucky to be in reach of some of the most beautiful parts of the UK. Somerset is definitely one of my favourite places to take wedding photographs. Priston Mill near Bath is a very popular venue and it never fails to disappoint! So I was delighted when Tom and Emma asked me to photograph their Priston Mill summer wedding.

They found me through their friends Emma and Lee whose wedding at Caswell House I also photographed. Thanks guys for recommending me! I definitely owe you a drink or two…

They both got ready in different spots in Bath so it was easy to catch them both getting ready before the ceremony. One of the best bits about Priston Mill is that you can get married outside, and fortunately the weather helped us out! One of my favourite parts of any ceremony are the readings. Tom and Emma chose some poetry personal to them. Their bridesmaid, who was an actress (I think!) read it SO well.

Emma and her dedicated team of helpers made all of the bunting and little decorations seen on the day. The flowers were from Coates Chippenham and the cake from BLTea. The Wedding favours were rhubarb gin, hand made by Emma!

It was great to work with StoryBox Films again and come sunset we headed outside to grab a few portraits as the sun set. Tom even grabbed a few shots on his iPhone!

A massive thank you to them both for having me and for being so much fun on the day (as well as the wedding party!) They were both so relaxed and this shines through in the wedding photos. Now on with the Priston Mill summer wedding photos.
