Relais Blu wedding Sorrento

My first time doing wedding photography at the Relais Blu near Sorrento and wow! What a space. I have been a Ravello wedding photographer right around the corner so I’m familiar with the heat and views!

It was a first working with Cheryl from Bella Sposa who I could not have been more impressed by. The day was simply flawless and she was always present for anyone who needed anything.

This isn’t a review but the wedding planner (Cheryl and her team) paid attention to all the small details. It really went a long way in helping make the photos as beautiful as they are.

Shout out to my partner Roo films (who it was great to finally meet.)  I can’t wait to see his film and of course he’s been added to the recommended suppliers list. Thanks for the great company buddy!

Sarah and Michael were such nice people and I’m aware that I see the very best of people on their wedding day. But they were such a pleasure to work with. Everything I needed or wanted they made sure it happened, which frankly, on such a busy, emotional day with so many depends on your time can’t always happen.

Relaid Blu was a big surprise for me. Whilst the photos on the website are lovely it is quite hard to convert exactly how breathtaking the view and scenery are. Often part of my job is to make things look even better than they are (which is why the edit can be quite time consuming!) but every now and again however many photos you take of a scene you can’t quite capture the magic of actually being there.

Another nice thing about destination weddings are that people tend to be in the ‘Brits abroad’ holiday mode and really give everything 100% on the dance floor.

Huge, huge thanks to Sarah and Michael for having me. I worked hard in the sun but I couldn’t have been happier to be there to witness them getting married. I hope these photos being back all the good vibes of the day.
