It was great to meet up with Sam and Tom for a pre-wedding shoot in Bristol. They get married this Saturday (yay!) so fingers crossed everyone for the very best UK springtime sun. It feels like it’s been a long winter to me so now the sun is back it is great to get out again and do what I love doing. I haven’t really lifted up a camera since my last wedding just after Christmas and I took very few photographs during my honeymoon. That said, I’ve been planning a few creative ideas over the break and it was great to get out there and try a few of them with Sam and Tom. We were blessed with great weather for the shoot and I don’t think there’s much better to do than stroll around Clifton on a sunny afternoon.
Sam is also a wedding photographer and like most of us, more at home behind the lens than in front of it. But they were brilliant and whilst having your photo taken can sometimes be a bit daunting, I tend to find that after a few minutes people tend to forget about me and just enjoy the time. And so it was great to catch up with them and hear all about their wedding plans. It sounds as though it’ll be so much fun and I can’t wait to play a small part in their big day.
