Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photographer

Ever since Ali and Andrew’s couple shoot I have been on hot coals waiting for their wedding day. It was my first time as a Smeetham Hall Barn wedding photographer and their venue did not disappoint. Not only was the weather glorious it was a pleasure to work alongside the chipper makeup artist Laura  and Jades Flower Design. They put together a whole bunch of prettiness in form of the stunning arrangements at the ceremony, to the gorgeous bridal flowers, not to mention the reception flowers.

To kick the day off, Ali and the girls got ready in one of the nearby boutique guest house venues. Ali’s gorgeous wedding gown was from the Enzoani at Bellissima weddings. The gown was complemented by beautiful cream suede shoes. I think it’s fair to say Ali looked incredible.

I then drove to the nearby church, whizzing down Suffolks narrowest country lanes to the church to meet Andrew. The suits were by Anthony Formal Wear, and I arrived in time to capture guests arriving and ushers ushering.

One of my favourite moments of the day was seeing Ali walking down the aisle. Having everyone’s eyes on you must be nerve wracking. But as I saw her reach the end of the aisle she saw Andrew and their faces lit up.

After confetti we headed to Smeetham Hall Barn for celebrations. It is a beautiful venue with charming areas inside and out. A huge thank you to the staff for being so helpful.

Ali and Andrew’s wedding day was so individual and beautiful, and I felt very privileged to have been a part of it. Thank you Katie & John, for creating such a beautiful day and for allowing me to be a part of it all!
