Cripps Barn Summer Wedding

Up on the blog today is a summer wedding at Cripps Barn! It was great to return to Cripps Barn – it’s a beautiful venue in the Cotswolds and I’ve been a few times before over the years.

I think my favourite moment of the day was the champagne popping photo you’ll see below. Lily requested this and although it’s been a while since I’ve done one I think it came out pretty well! I put my camera in burst mode, framed up the wedding party and told them to spray and pray! It worked just lovely and it has to be one of my favourite shots from 2023.

The speeches were just brilliant with Lily’s dad delivering a blinder!

We used the entrance road to Cripps Barn wedding venue for the couple photos as well as the interior. Although it was a summer wedding the barn has the most amazing light for the ceremony (and a few couple photos.) In the event of rain it’s a great backup and the resulting photos are stunning.

They had a String Quartet – @nerostringquartet play modern hits all day and the band – @electrickicksband played the night away!

A massive than you to Matt and Lily for having me at their Cripps barn wedding. As you can see it was a photo friendly day and it was a massive honour to be there.
