Summer Wedding San Galgano Abbey

It was great to return to San Galgano Abbey for Kelly and John’s summer wedding. It is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding. The wedding photos speak for themselves on this one and it’s no wonder why this is on many places as One of the most unique places to get married.

It was my pleasure to meet Kelly and John who were some of the loveliest people from Michigan. They invited me for pizza the night before and it was great to get to know Sam and all of the family and friends. 

Although they were a small wedding party they were a ton of fun and the most dedicated of dancers. The dancefloor was bouncing all night long and the dj player quite the variety of tunes over the course of the evening. 

they also looked amazing in the met gala style outfits and Kelly’s Hollywood’s waves hair.

The sun shone brightly for them which was predictable for Tuscany! And it was such a beautiful day. 

For some reason I like a wedding is that thing always go to plan. The one minor mishap was the Fiat 500 which broke down on the way to the ceremony. Luckily it is just five minutes away from the airport now though and John made it on time. Although I like the occasional minor mishap I was somewhat gutted for them as the car is pure photo gold and looks perfect in the backdrop of any wedding photo.
