Jessica & James | The Frogmill | Wedding
The Frogmill Wedding
When make-up artist Jessica asked me to photograph her wedding to James at The Frogmill wedding venue in Gloucestershire, it was a huge complement! We have worked together quite a few times over the years. Jessica is super talented and artistic, so I knew she’d be all over the wedding details! Plus, I was the wedding photographer for her sister Olivia (and Ollie) last year (another amazing day!). Who is a wedding planner! So the perfect choice to help organise the big day. Adding to the excitement, the Frogmill wedding venue is brand new. So I couldn’t wait to see what it had to offer.
Set in beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, The Frogmill wedding venue is classic Cotswold style meets French farmhouse chic. With twenty-eight beautiful rooms on site there was plenty of room for Jessica and James plus family to get ready and settle in. I am always on the lookout for good light in new wedding venues. The light at The Frogmill was very easy to work with, even in the rooms where everyone got ready. Judge for yourself, I’ve snuck one of those into the gallery. I’m sure the question Jessica was asked over and over was “who’s going to do your make-up”. On the big day Jessica had a day off and chose Sophie Moore as the make-up artist and Ruth Tong. A tropical bouquet from The Rose Shed completed her look. Just loved those white orchids. I think you’ll agree Jessica looks absolutely stunning!
The ceremony was held in The Mill Room where guests were welcomed by the Renewal Gospel Choir. James’ reaction to seeing Jessica was super sweet and is one of my favourite photos from the 2019 (already!) There wasn’t a dry eye in the place. There were lots of beautiful moments with friends and family wishing them well.
Just loved the tropical theme, the green just really pops in every photo. The speeches at the reception didn’t disappoint either and I loved the video put together by the best men. Jessica switched it up to a green evening dress and everyone danced the night away to some fine Jamaican beats.
