I’m lucky enough to be invited to many weddings, but I have not had any Ufton Court weddings before so I was so excited to be a small part of Helen and Nick’s wedding day there. There was a visual feast of emotion all through the day, and I shot my heart out to capture all the smiles, tears, funny and happy moments. With friends and family coming from all over the world, getting a great shot of everyone was really important. A few nods to the international flavour of the wedding came in the form of Tibetan Prayer flags which were a tribute to Helen’s upbringing in India and her mother bought table runners and tea light from India. Then there were Caipirinha cocktails, a little Brazilian number as that’s where Nick, and his family are from.
It was good to see the outdoor games being used through the day. I don’t think Ufton Court weddings would be complete without these :)
Sarah Elizabeth Abbott did a great job with Helen’s Hair and Makeup and The Flower Gallery put together all of the floral arrangements. The Naked Wedding Cake took pride of place in the entrance to the barn and Helen’s Vera Wang dress went down a treat. Nick wore one of the nicest suits I’ve seen from Moss Bros (Bespoke) and caterers Catering for Special Occasions and it was great to see Pizza by Baz and Fred once again.
Also a special shoutout to One Magpie who made the beautiful cut out seating plan.
A huge thank you to Nick and Helen for having me, I felt blessed to be there.
