Wedding cupcakes – product photography Bristol

I know, another late blog post… I missed my Monday deadline. I thought I was going to be short of material to post at this time of year but in fact I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to even blog about it! So much for creating those new sample albums I was planning over the winter!

Anyway – this one is a bit of a sweet surprise (sorry!) – I was hired to do a product shoot for a new business in Bristol. It is a new cup cake company called House of Cupcakes. They bake cupcakes to order – so birthdays, weddings – all those happy times. I don’t have a whole lot of experience with product photography so it was great to really get stuck in to something a bit different and learn along the way.
My experience thus far with product photography has been photographing items for eBay! So whilst I had a bit to learn I had a pretty decent grasp on the importance of lighting, composition and colour. Anyway – enough photography stuff – the proof is in the pudding! (Sorry!)

  2. Dude, really? I’m just about to eat lunch and this is not helping. Anyway, great clean exposures as always. How the eff do you make such clean exposures?

  3. Love these! Not easy to look at them without my mouth watering, but seriously – they’re awesome. I love the sprinkles that were on the surface around the cupcakes. Beautiful compositions. 🙂

  4. Albert, did you have to post these?! I haven’t even had my breakfast yet, but I wanna start my day with a cupcake now! They all look so scrumptious! Love colours and composition! Great shots!
